my graphics card not listed in device manager

im useing a old graphics card leadtek myvivo winfast a280 agp 8x 128mb right its not listed in device manager its useing standard vga graphics adapter when i run drivers through leadtek site it says cannot find product but when i start up pc before windows loads it states leadtek graphics card and bios etc im useing windowes 7 ultimate 64bit

You may be able to use a vista driver if you install it in compatibility mode. to do that right click the installer>properties>choose OS

That card is also known as the old (now very old) Ti 4800 SE, and there is a good reason nothing will install for it, there is zero support for it in Windows 7 (will 7 even work with an old DirectX 8.1 card?). The best you might get for it is the last XP driver,

ForceWare Windows XP/2000 32-bit

installed in compatibility mode,

or manually through Device Manager. Seeing as your motherboard has a PCI-E slot as well as the AGP slot, might be easier to just pick up a cheap PCI-E card that will work with Windows 7 than trying to get that old one working.

I wonder what fred54321's motherboard is. AGP with a Q6600? Unusual.

However, there are ATI AGP graphics cards that support Win7. Here's a Newegg link:

The highest end cards use the ATI HD4670 chipset. Those are fairly new.

If you get one of these, make sure to get the ATI/AMD "hotfix" drivers that support AGP cards. The generic Catalyst drivers may not work.

Unusual, not really. Asrock made quite a few boards back when PCI-E first came out with bot a PCI-E slot and an AGP slot. Here is fred54321's motherboard,

They had an AMD socket 939 board that had both slots as well as a slot for a daughterboard that allowed you to use socket AM2 CPU's,
