I have owned this laptop for roughly 6 months now however recently my Laptop screen keeps crashing, refreshing and then displaying the message 'The graphics driver has stopped responding and has recovered'. I currently have an Intel HD Graphics 4000 graphics card. The crashes occur mostly when I play video games, watch videos and move this to fast. Also there are what seems to be dead pixels on my screen but I can mouse over them and they disappear. Help would be appreciated.

Hi OrganisedMess,

Welcome to Seven forums.

Kindly remove the video drivers from the system and then re-install from this link:

Please try the same and let us know the results.

Thanks, I tried the download which made me realised that my operating system was 32 bit not 64 (Sorry!) but I found the same download but for 32 bit. However when it finished downloading it came up with the error message 'Operating System not supported'. I checked and it does say it supports windows 7 home premium...

Hi there .... I am not sure what that Number represents its not your Model Number or Serial Number .... There might be a sticker underneath the Laptop with the Model Number ... If not go to the Link below ... Select Search by Serial Number or SNID .. And then Auto-detect my Serial Number ... Then please copy and paste the Link back to me

If you're talking about Windows 8 then yes it did have Windows 8 but I downgraded it to Windows 7 when this problem appeared because after trying updates and uninstalling and re-installing I settled on trying it with windows 7.
