my HDD hang when I started to access it.

when I'm formatting my laptop it hang when it comes to access the hard disk... and I try to put it in some enclossure when it was inserted to pc it has been detected but when I tried to access it my pc got hang. I tried many software but when started to read the HDD the software hang again. what should I do? is there anything I can do to format it again?

any help will be appreciated.

Hi Harry

thanks for the help... but my problem still the same and not yet fix... after i ren chkdsk G: /f theres nothing happen but only blinking cursor after 2 hours I decided to stop and find help again...

by the way thank you so much for your time and I can use that in another time for some other HDD problem.

yup I tried that one too... maybe I just need to purchase new HDD... and you are right my HDD have physical bad sector and now the drive it sound like something scratching in the inside...

Scratching doesn't sound too good, and yes buying a new HDD would probably be the best option, if there are physical bad sectors on the hard-drive.

Try and backup any data onto a USB memory stick or a external hard-drive;
