MY HDD is full and my notebook is new!! what can i do!!

i don't have nothing on it (documents, pictures, music, videos) nothing plz help me!! i run disk clean up, ccleaner... and nothing happens just 100mb... this is how look like

Hi Kary,

Run this portable program (no need to install) to see what file is taking up your resources.

It's likely to be a log file of some kind, if you're sure it's not data put there by you.

EDIT: When you find the culprit file/s, we can advise what to do with it. i.e. If it's a log and you delete it, the problem is likely to reoccur.

your users folder is the culprit, might want to drill down into the folder inside it, to see which one is taking up all that space. Their are some large files hiding in that folder, i have not seen a users folder larger than 250gb before.

The problem appears to be a real player database called treestate.

I would say that it's safe to delete; but I'll also get back to you as to what this is.... stand by.

I'd delete that file, and uninstall realplayer unless you really need it.

I use Media Player Classic - Home Cinema - Video Player as an alternative media player, and it will play realplayer files.

A quick internet search and it appears to be a bug. Do you need real player? If not, then remove it. After it is removed, you should be able to delete the file.

Then install Real Alternative 2.0.1, so that you can still play Real Media files.

Kary, that treestate.dat file might be malware. Try running Malwarebytes to see if it catches something. It might be that only deleting it doesn't do the trick

Agreed, there are also reports of this being Malware related too, so it's worth the hassle of a full virus and malware scan. I don't think it is malware, but it's still worth checking up on.

My Malware killer of choice is UnHackMe - First BootWatch AntiRootkit - Greatis Software. It has a free trial period so you can kill all the bad-stuff for free. it also picks up things that Trend Micro misses - on 3 occasions for me (I see that trend is installed via the screen print) and you can install it while Trend Micro is also installed with no concerns.
