Hi, I bought a new headset today, identical to that of my sister, which is very loud ( in a good way). So, when I plugged the set to my speakers I was disappointed because it was lower than that of my sister's. But then I thought to plug it to front green panel of the unit and boom!!! the sound was crystal-clear as my sister's. The question is: why that happens and how can receive the same amount of volume from both inputs?

If you plug it into a jack on the speakers, the speaker system determines the volume. When you plug it into the headphone jack on the PC the sound chip and system volume control determine the volume.

The Impedance of the headset can also affect volume level.
