My IP Prg that will send current IP Address via email w/TASKing capabi

Hi Gang!

Okay, I have several folks that I regularly help out via Remote Assistance and we all want to automated my logging in to check things out when they run into issues beyond them.

I'm looking at RealVNC as the server/client app and have sent them the Server so they have it to install and config once an automated "Whats My IP" util solution gets setup on their ends which will send me TASKed updates of their current IP's via email because that's the ONLY way that I know of to do this completely encrypted Point-to-Point insuring privacy and security of all of us.

Has anyone else attempted this and has any leads to such a program that can be setup as a TASK which will generate an email with the IP results and send it on a schedule or IP change trigger?

If not, have you thought of using TeamViewer => The new standard for remote control and remote support.

Hi and thanks for asking. Not yet. After getting RealVNC setup I understood it is a 3 party system, server (helpee), RealVNC or any other teaming type org. (conduite sites) and client (helper). RealVNC does a pretty good job and is automated after setup and is FREE for up to 5 clients per server, but it doesn't support file transfers in the free personal, non-profit flavor. GoogleDrive can handle moving all the files from system to system on that front. I haven't looked at Teamview yet, but will check it out per your recommendation. Thanks!
