Solved My loptop wont start after a windows update i did!?

Hi,Today i got a new windows update and i installed it.After it finished i was going to restart.It restared as always but when it finished the windows boot screen it kinda freezed and the display was black!I thought its an Hard Drive problem.Then later i wanted to secure my informations photos etc.by trying to go in safe mode but it loads everything and when its about to show desktop it frezes and it only shows Please wait... !
Then i tryed to restore it but i didnt had restore points.I opened cmd on that way and i tryed to copy my informations to disk D: by xcopy i think i didnt do it right because it didnt copy my folder.I wana know how to fix this or just tell me how to use xcopy to copy a whole folder.And will formating fix my problem!? Thanks!

Ohh yeah finally after a hour i started safe mode

Ok now my photos informations etc are safe now what should i do to fix my problem will formating fix my prob!?Or i can change some settings or anything in safe mode?
