My mouse is stuck on the ClickLock setting. I tried to turn it off manually but not only does it continue to stay on, it stays on whether it says it's turned on or off. I tried to fix it in a Safe Boot but that just replied "Unexpected Error Occurred Linking To The Mouse Control Panel (0x80004005L)." I tried to rollback using a Systems Restore setting but the last spot on there was in 2011. I'm hesitant to select that as so many programs would have to be updated or completely downloaded again. Any advise?

Hello and welcome sonicgym mate some system specs would be really helpful as would knowing if you mean mouse as in a USB driven device or whatever.

So some specs first mate then we go from there

But before that try running these if you haven't already
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/139810-sfc-scannow-run-command-prompt-boot.html

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/433-disk-check.html < use the /f and /r switches if you have to.

If you have not got it CCleaner is good for clearing the clutter too if you have it then run it frequently if not let us know because running it you need to save certain cookies that are for sites you have passwords for.

Press Flash button, then navigate to control panel using arrow keys and then in the control panel press enter on "Mouse" after navigating to it. Once the Mouse tab is opened, press "t" on your keyboard. Now you should see the check mark disappear in Turn On ClickLock. Now press enter, you should be able to click again.

This is just a suggestion, if not working did you check if your mouse in plugged in correctly in the PS2 port before the startup?
