Check out my new specs. When I first laid my eye on the HIS ATI Radeon HD 5770 cards I said wooooow. Cards are huge with the heat pipes. I can play Dragon Age with all settings maxed.
And the best thing is the system is very very quiet.
So how do I view web sites with my wide screen monitor? I can increase the size with Ctrl + . But I have to do this with every web site. I'm using Firefox.

Well it is recommended to keep the screen resolution to it's native res.
And it depends on how the website is developed really. Most websites develop towards the resolution the average user is using, some will scale to widescreen, some won't.
