Solved My pc is refusing to sleep

I have recently installed new OS windows 7 Ultimate x64. When I try to put it into sleep mode, it instantly wakes and shows me my login screen. (Cpu fan runs all the time, it doesn't stop like it usually does). Then I tried to enable hibernation by running the following command in elevated command prompt "powercfg -h on".
No luck.

Windows 7 can be really picky sometimes. Make sure your power plan is set to balanced and click on Restore default settings for this plan.

Looks like you found the other tutorial link for dealing with this issue while viewing Lastwake.
