My Problems with Window 7

Hello guys,

I have bought an Acer laptop with Window 7 last week and I really wish I hadn't now...

Problems so far:

1. It loses connection after half an hour and the wireless device adaptor or whatever it's called does not show any connections available (not just mine one..)

2. I cannot wach youtube because it does not download Adobe flash player...

Can anyone help please?

1) Take laptop back to retail for replacment.

2) Are you downloading from Abobe web site?

hmm.. yeah, it sort of sounds like a potential issue with that wireless card. All of my seven machines stay connected no problem. With what browser are you trying to install adobe flash?

Re: Flash, are you running a 32 or 64 bit system? If you're running 64, then you'll have to open a 32 bit browser and install Flash within it, as there is currently no 64 bit Flash available.
Windows has a built in 32 bit version of IE 8, or you could download Firefox, always a great browser.

Thanks guys! I have downloaded firefox and I can now watch youtube!!!
Hopefully I will be available to watch it soon even with internet explorer...
Regarding the wireless, it does work, it only stops working after an hour or so.......
