My ram...

My ram has 4 gb capacity, but windows use just 3 gb? how can i fix this problem?

Hi cafynothHACK,
Far as I recall Windows 32 bit still has the memory limitation of 3 gig. If you run the 64 bit of Windows 7 then it will use all 4 gig.

32 bit O/S's are limited to 3.3 gig of memory, whereas 64 bit is limited to 128 gig of memory, or whatever your mobo is designed to handle. If you have a 64 bit system then 64 is the way to go, albeit remember there are some older software that will not run under a 64 bit system. So if you can a dual boot could be just the thing.

I thought that 64-bit had a 32-bit emulation mode that could run older apps? (I'm still using 32-bit at the moment)
