Solved My screen is back and white

Hello so after playing 60 minutes of nba 2k15 my I had to do something and tried to do alt-tab while in game and the screen went black, the image reapeared for 10 seconds and then everything went black again. After attempting to resurrect it with ctr-alt-dlt i gave up and press restart however the second I do that my screen goes to a black and white checkered pattern. When I try to boot up the black and white screen disappears and another fully black screen appears instead. I closed the computer but now (while shut down) it displays the checkered screen, I tried to unplug the computer(everything fine) but when i unplug the screen(after the computer) it sparks.
So know here I am on my laptop looking hopeless at a checkered pc.
Any suggestions, please make em fast I was in the middle of a game.

it booted up but can you tell me how to prevent it and wtf just happened?
