my user name all of a sudden requires a password

I had a similar issue where my user name all of a sudden requires a password...i have an ultrabook so i don't have a disc drive. I attempted to resolve the issue by resetting the user password through DOS however it says that the password is blank and it cant be reset? its very strange. Any ideas on how i can gain access to my computer? thanks.

You need to enable the hidden Administrator account so you can login to it in Safe Mode then fix the password problem on your main account.
