my windows 7 has crashed

my windows 7 has crashed... i dont know how..
can somebody plz help me???
i just switchd it off from the main start button and then when i switchd it on, it said that windows drives cannot be detected..please install cd.
now the problem is that i dont even have a cd..not a windows cd and not even a backup cd... please somebody help me, the customer care is asking me to purchase a new OS. i dont want to invest more money as my laptop is only 3 months old.
i did not even create any recovery disk.
i have tried to get the recoevry image also by pressing F8 bt it hasnt hepled.
it is continuously prompting me to insert the installation cd and repair the system.
plzzz hellpp!!!... i dont want to lose the data on my system also.
