A while ago the hard drive on my computer had to be erased and it lead to my family oderring replacement OS CDs' from the manufacturer's company. The CD installed windows 7 home premium 64 bit just fine but now its' telling me that my copy of windows is not genuine? I attempted the fix that was put on Microsofts website however, whenever I try to type in rsop.msc in the run program it tells me that windows cannot find it. How do I get my operating system to work again?

Hello Peach Pie, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You might see if you may be able to activate Windows 7 online or by phone with your product key number if you have not already.

If that doesn't help, then try doing the Validate Windows option to see if it may afterwards.

Hope this helps for now,
Shawn
