mySQL question

I want to install mySQL on Win7 64 bit Pro, but having zero experience of this package i do not know how to achieve the following instructions from a GPS tracking server, could anyone tell me how to be sure this gets enabled please? thanks.


"Traccar will create tables for you, but you need to create database with selected name by yourself. Make sure you use InnoDB engine for the database. Traccar uses constraints that are not supported by MyISAM engine."

Install MySQL community edition from mysql.com, during installation it will ask you to create a root password make sure you remember this as you will need it to create the database - just click next through everything and keep default settings.

It should create InnoDB databases by default, all you need to do then is make a database, the following page shows you how: How to Create & Manage MySQL Databases, Tables & Users
