NAS invisible in network, unable to map drive. //SOLVED

Hello all,
this is my first post so please correct me if I do something wrong.
I've been a long time lurker here.

I've recently bought a Synology DS213+ NAS, which I've hooked up to my netgear router. I am unable to access it.

I can access my NAS from my pc via: http, ssh, ftp.
It's also visible in DSAssistant.
It pings back fine.
It's on the same workgroup.
I have the "TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper" service started.
Firewall is disabled.
Same result with antivirus disabled/enabled.
AFAIK all ports are open.

When I try to map the drive or access it by \\192.168.0.5\ or \\NAS_NAME\ I get a network error popup.
With the DSAssistant I get the same result (error 53).

What's weird is that it works without an issue on a laptop with win 7.
I have no idea what I might be doing wrong.
I have been at it for hours, even asked the guy who sold me that NAS.

Any ideas?

EDIT:
Well I found the solution on my own, weird I didnt notice it before.
For anyone interested:

Glad you got it figured out. It's very important to know Client for Microsoft Networks is required to remotely access files.

On all my systems the Client for Microsoft Networks is installed and enabled automatically. I think someone must have accidently unchecked it.
