Navigation pane in Excel 10 lost functionality

I recently repaired Office because of an issue I was having with an add-in. When I did, the add-in issue went away, but the navigation pane when you open or save a file in Excel resorted back to a much earlier version. I have lost the ability to organize, navigate and adjust the menu options to the left (please see pic). The navigation pane in Word is just fine so apparently this issue is limited to Excel. Any ideas??

Looking at this one and scratching my head. Here's a link that you might want to try... How to troubleshoot startup problems in Excel. For the sake of troubleshooting through this, it's probably a good idea to post the exact steps you've used so far.

I fixed it. Come to find out I was running Excel as an administrator and when the box was unchecked it had full capability! Thankfully it was a very simple fix! Appreciate your advice...
