Solved ndis.sys BSOD (timing seems random)

I get the BSOD every couple of weeks. Most of the research I've done indicated that it was probably an out of date driver, but I've updated everything I could (at least everything that I'm aware of). I can't pinpoint any specific activity that causes it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

upload your MSINFO32.nfo file.

1. Click on the start button
2. Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
3. File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
4. Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
5. Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.

Update it from the manufacturer's website.

Start Menu\Programs\NETGEAR WN111 Smart Wizard

AVG is a known network blocker. Uninstall AVG using AVG Remover. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.
Download, install and update those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one.

Also, as the network adapter is an USB one, check for the USB drivers, too. Here it is ....

And that is very old, too.

Try to update it from Support/Design | Renesas Electronics.

Uninstall PeerBlock; at least as a test.

Perfectly. I've been debating when to mark as solved. I couldn't find updates to WN111x.sys, but I was able to do everything else that you suggested. Not a single BSOD since. I will mark solved for now, and hopefully I won't be back.
