Maybe I'm just over-thinking it, but, it would seem to me, that the authors of that program wanted to make sure that only you could run it, by putting in your password. If you had a batch file on your PC, to put in the password, anyone could run the program even without your permission. It's a Security thing. Be thankful that they are just trying to protect you.
Contact them with your request and see what they say.
