I just built a rig for my fiance, and since he's a photographer, I added this because it was the sleekest looking CF-card reader, which also gave us the bonus of 4 different fan controllers: Newegg.com - nMEDIAPC Black 5.25" USB 2.0 Card Reader w/e-SATA & 4 Channels Multi Fan Controller in LCD Display His case is sporting black metal, and when turned on, everything glows blue. On that front panel piece, behind each knob lights up blue as does the lcd screen. Very pretty.
I now understand the advantage of this kind of fan controller. I'm switching out a couple black fans for green led ones in my rig right now, and I think one would suit me as well. I have only 1 chassis fan controller connector on my mobo, yet I have 6 fans. 3 of these are the same size and could be y-split to the same controller. But the other 3 are all different sizes, so require unique attention.
So I need 3-4 controllers, some kind of read-out (lcd screen or can software do this? idk) + control, and that won't clash with green leds. I also don't want to just copy my dear's setup over here.
Here's my case: HAF X NVIDIA edition - Cooler Master - Leading Provider of Computer Case | Cooler | Power Supply
Any suggestions?
