Solved Need a Graphics card to fit PCI Express x1 on Dell Dimension 5150

Hello.
I have a Dell Dimension 5150 comp. with Win 7, 32 bit, Pent.4 ,3.00GHz chip and a maximum output of 250 wattage installed.
Perhaps someone could help me choose a graphics card that use no more than 35 Watts, that would fit the x1 pci express slot on the mother board.

I'm not sure about the power consumption of any of them, though.

Is there any particular reason you're looking for an X1 card rather than the much more common X16 ones? The Dimension 5150 has one X16 graphics slot.

Thank You for the choices......"Dell" made sure not to build the mother board with an x16 slot.
I also made a mistake the maximum power output is 230 W not 250, here Also "Dell" made sure that you can not upgrade your power unit.....let say to a 300 Wattage unit....I tried that 2 days ago....installed a 300 W power source....pressed the front panel button....got a continuious blinking orange light and no Boot up. had to reinstall the 230 W unit... and of course the computer booted up.

I have never seen an x1 GPU - but maybe they exist. But the x1 bus speed is so slow that I question the wisdom of putting a GPU on there. Besides, with 230 watts you have no margin.

Dell desktops and Sony laptops are terrible. They do not want you to modify their systems - even not change the BIOS (Sony). That is a lot better with HP boxes, They are easy to work with and you can change nearly everything.

According to Dell, the 5150 has an X16 slot:

They could lie, but it seems unlikely.

Also, according to some photos posted by someone under the name frog1, the board indeed has an X16 slot:

As regards the PSU, it appears to be a standard ATX12V one electrically. It looks funky as regards where the cables come out of the stock one, though: on an industry standard PSU, the output cables come out of the end away from where the mains power plugs in. A quick look around the Web suggests that the main feature needed for a replacement PSU is right-angle SATA power connectors. They're not uncommon.
