Hello all. I'm quite sure that this question has been asked here countless times but I would like to know where to go to LEGALLY purchase and obtain valid product keys for Windows 7 Home Premium 64/32. I've installed the OS on a couple of old laptops but I don't have the product activation keys that I need for activation.

Are these key codes still available? Is there a trustworthy, reliable and legitimate vendor out there who can get me these activation key codes? Any help with this issue would be most sincerely appreciated. Many thanks...

Hi

couple of silly questions

Were the old lappys shipped with W7 Home, if so check the battery compartment, COA's, (keys) usually there.

if not, were going to need a bit more info about them ie thier specs.

W7 keys can be found on the web but there are no retailers i know of that currently sell them.
your best bet, check out your local refurbisher, sure they will have keys they MIGHT pass on of PC's the've upgraded

Thanks for the reply. One laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1525 that had Ubuntu on it but the original OS was Windows Vista. The other laptop is a Toshiba notebook that had (an un-activated) Windows 7 Enterprise on it but the original OS was Windows 7 Starter and there is no key code on the sticker label.

I've already talked to a couple of refurbishing shops but they couldn't help me. Both computers seem to boot up fine with now with Windows 7 Home Premium installed but I just can't activate them... :(

I thank torchwood very much for the reply. It seems that there really are no legitimate vendors for W7 key codes... :(

7oeminstaller should work on the Toshiba.

You could try it on the Dell, but It might not have any effect if the bios slic table is vista only.
