I create a lot of notes and other writings that have links (web links) in them. Is there a text, writing, program or app that makes it easy to create web links like the editor the forum uses that has a link button. When you use it it opens the link in your preferred browser.

The built-in Wordpad can do this. Just tried it briefly, but while typing a URL into it, it just highlights it as a link (the typical blue color), or pasting an address also gives the same effect. Clicking it opens it in the default browser too.

Markdown editor seems a good candidate. I used it on both my iPhone and Mac.
