Hello,

I just got a new Asus notebook and everything has been going smoothly until today. I was surfing the web and I got the BSoD which really freaked my out since my computer is brand new. I had this happen often on my old computer, but I didn't think that this should be happening on a device that's less than two weeks old! I didn't know what to do so I rebooted in safe-mode and tried to figure out what to do. After a while I restarted normally and continued to surf the web for help when I had my second BSoD within roughly two hours and now I'm here. This is the error information that appeared upon reboot, I'm not sure if that's anyhelp:

I will also attack my dump folder which has the files from both stop errors. Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me out! :D

**Edit** I stumbled across a post where it advised using SF Diagnostic Tool and upload the folder with my post. I'm not sure if that is redundant with my already attached dump file but it can't hurt!

This bugcheck 7F can be caused by any of the following. Since memory is the first on the list I would download a 3rd party app called memtestx86, burn it to a cd, and run it for 7 passes.

Code:
[B]Usual causes:[/B] Memory corruption, Hardware (memory in particular), Installing a faulty or mismatched hardware (especially memory) or a failure after installing it, 3rd party firewall, Device drivers, SCSI/network/BIOS updates needed, Improperly seated cards, Incompatible storage devices, Overclocking, Virus scanner, Backup tool, Bad motherboard, Missing Service Pack

I found that a 3rd party firewall may be the issue after searching another site for quite some time. I uninstalled ZoneAlarm and the problem seems to be fixed. I'll let you know if it happens again. Thanks!
