After some days of investigating the driver and the accompanying app from Intel for its Serial I/O device, one thing got pretty clear: The device is not usable under W7, nor is the driver or the app instalable by any means... So canonkong from the other forum created a "fake driver" (an empty cell) so as to just get rid of the yellow triangle at least... Actually, the driver contains the H/W IDs of other Serial I/O devices from Intel as well, so it will suit more than my INT34BB device.

I signed up to mention my journey finally coming to an end thanks to this and a couple of other threads here on sevenForums.

My system is a Dell Alienware Aurora R8, with a Coffee Lake 9700k proc and a Kaby Point Z370 chipset. My OS drive is an NVMe Corsair Force MP510, and my daily driver OS is Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 x64.

Man alive, was this a battle.

Slipstreaming USB 3.X drivers and NVMe drivers/hotfixes was not fun. Finding the GPIO driver solution wasn't either. And forget about the integrated graphics driver.

Anyway, some notes on my journey:

And lastly, thanks to Microsoft for providing the instructions for adding NVMe and USB3 drivers via DISM.

With all these links, drivers, tools, and communities, i have a fully working Windows 7 system with no yellow bangs anywhere, running on a modern processor, chipset, and NVMe drive.

Perhaps i was hasty...

Went to bed after posting this and woke up to the system having kernel power/unclean shutdown/reboot issues. looks like it happened at least 4 times since 7am with nothing actually showing wrong in the event viewer besides the errors relating to the the unexpected shutdown itself (as opposed to the cause).

at least if i have to reinstall everything it will be a lot less painful this time around.

Installed UHD 630 driver -- win7_8th_i3_i5_Driver_2.0
It loads correctly (verified using Team Viewer)
Installed however -- I get no video
Prior to installing I had (slow) video via the generic driver

Have also tried (and it does install):
SMXDIY_Win64_15.45.27.5068_Beta_4.0_signature

Same results (black screen).

1. Have you been to Win-Raid Forum ?

If not, Proceed ahead with logged in as 'Admin'!

2. First get rid of the already installed Graphic Driver.

Note: Follow the onscreen instructions during the process & restart the PC whenever asked to!

(i) Go to the 'Install or Uninstall Programs' section & uninstall all the entries / components related to the Graphic driver one by one.

(ii) Then go to the Device Manager & uninstall all the graphic driver components one by one. If offered, select to delete the driver

(iii) Restart the pc for two times after the task is complete. Make sure that you have got rid of the installed graphics driver components in the Installed Programs & Device Manager.

If you have successfully got rid of the Graphic Driver Components, Proceed ahead!

3. Now we will try this driver from Win-Raid Forum :

Driver Zip With Extracting Pass : xiaofengmod

(i) Download it & extract it with the Pass : xiaofengmod

(ii) Go to the Graphics folder. Execute 'igxpun.exe', follow the onscreen instructions & Report when its done.

You need to rt click and "save as" or "save link as" depending what browser you use. Biostar made it.

I don't know if it is only for HD630 or if it will work for your uhd620 thing. Only one way to find out.

Hello guys! I'm bringing this back, as I had to re-download the Biostar package for the laptop I referred to here only this time NOD32 detects three viruses in these three files:

• igdumdim64.dll
• igdumdim32.dll
• igdkmd64.sys

NOD32 doesn't generally give false alarms for nothing, so I suppose it's correct. But how can this be?

I am using the biostar drivers. No problems. No alerts.

I just downloaded the rar again. All clear from mse and malwarebytes.

A while back we were discussing a UHD620 Win7 driver which included Amber Lake, Coffee Lake, Comet Lake and Whisky Lake entries in the Win7 section of the inf file. This driver may, or may not, also work for the UHD630 chips although I only have a UHD620 - for which it works perfectly.

Driver version 21.20.16.5164, reported date as at August 6, 2020. This is an update on the Biostar driver, although Biostar is not the author here. The real use of this driver is the additional inf file entries for more recent video chips.

At the time, I had lost the URL where I'd gathered it. Now refound and is still available as at Nov 29, 2021:

Sorry for the bump, but has anyone managed to get Intel Graphics working with Windows 7/8.1 under Tiger Lake (11th Gen)? I currently have 8.1 installed alongside Windows 11 on a Lenovo IdeaPad that came with Intel Tiger Lake/Intel Iris Xe Graphics. Thanks in advanced for your guys help!
