Need Drivers For XFX board

Hey all,

My machine is running XP and I've decided now to migrate to Windows 7. But while doing a simple search to find out Win 7 drivers for my hardware I couldn't find any for my XFX 630i motherboard and my Dlink DWA 510 G Wireless Adapter. The XFX website is hopeless, didn't find any download drivers option. So, if anyone could tell me where would I get the drivers for the above-mentioned products I would be really thankful. Or will using the update drivers option after installing Windows 7 work??

Thanks in advance.

I'm guessing you didn't register the board with XFX? When you register, after you log in, all the files they have for your product(s) are listed. As you've found out, searching for file(s) is hopeless, and because they won't show them to you unless logged in, pointless.

Just to add to this excellent advice, you only need an email address and a serial number off the card, if you can't access the card or have the box with all the info the model, and possibly version, will be enough to register.

Seeing how stormy13 was gracious enough to provide the info let's see if that works first before hammering those other points further ;)

The problem with registering my board is that I'm unable to locate the serial no. or the part no. on the board. The board is 2 years old so I don't have its box. I could easily register my graphics card though because I just bought it a few days ago.

Me found that D-Link driver but it has got no installer. All it got is a NetRT61G security catalog file, a dll named RaCoInst.dll and a rt61 system file. Will it genuinely work after I install Windows 7 because if I can't connect to the net I won't be able to get the rest of the drivers too. And yes, I got the 32 bit version.

Unless someone here has the same adapter, no one can tell you for sure whether it will work or not. I did have a look at that driver file I linked to and there is no installer, you will have to install it manually through Device Manager,

Vista Forums

As far as any other drivers go, you can always download them before installing Windows and save them on a separate partition/drive, USB key, CD, etc; then you have them ready to install when needed.

And you shouldn't have to worry about getting the drivers from XFX, whatever they have will be the same as the ones directly from Nvidia.
