Need help 7 to Xp

I was using windows Xp then I installed Windows 7 but now I again want to install windows Xp when I do the setup it show shows that my hard disk is out of order and it does not formats or installs xp in it but when I install windows 7 it runs very good. What is the problem and How it can be removed?

Not sure, but you may try this:
Format your Disc using windows 7 dvd, then you may try to install windows xp.

I still need help

Firstly, I used F8 method i gone to command promat but it dsnt formated it. Then i used windows 7 dvd and formated C then when i tried to install Xp in the setup it said SETUP DIDNT FIND ANY HARD DISK INSTALLED ON YOUR COMPUTER but when I again installed 7 it ran very beautifully.

Hi there
that's because you need the SATA drivers -- these aren't normally included with Windows XP.

If you have an option in the BIOS you *might* be able to change the disks to IDE emulation or something like that then it should work.

Otherwise you need to "Slipstream" SATA drivers into the XP install disk.

I used these for "De-Vista-ing" some laptops a while back (pre Win 7) when VISTA was running like a dog and I wanted to un-install the pre-installed Vista and install XP on them.

Thanks alot dear I have a lenovo laptop and I have installed xp changing an option from the setup as u guided i didnt used driver packs trhnx alot.
