I am currently interested in replacing my current GPU which is a multimedia graphics card for a gaming graphics card.

I am in search for something that is just enough for my system hardware (exceptions Power Consumption, Size of GPU, Card Slot, all these are not important right now hahaha). Something that doesnt bottleneck any other component in my system. Please help me since I have no idea about GPU jargon but also post links of tutorials or guides about understanding the GPU because I am also interested to learn.

PS: I like nVidia =D Thanks in advance guys ^_^

Well. There's the GTX 690? Very expensive but would bottle neck your other components.
I have the GTX 550 ti but if your going for something like that go for the GTX 560 as the performance has a staggering difference.
So either the eVga GTX 550 ti from nVidia.
Or GTX 560 from nVidia.
Look at my photo for the 550 ti

Tell us your Bugdet ;)

Your system is good but buying a very Highend card like GTX 690 will be bottleneck due to CPU and Memory so buying a Card like 560Ti or AMD 6870 will be more than enough for you by assuming your current display resolution but even if you will buy a new monitor with higher resolutions these 2 cards will be flying games ;)
