i work for the app dev section of my (enterprise) company
officially, we will be on xp for at least a couple more years but some of us advanced/power users have exceptions
i need to convince the network/architecture people why we need 7

something like "when evaluating software we can use xp mode to limit software bloat on our main machines"

Also add in Microsoft is dropping Support for XP next year potentially making it a security risk.

I don't know if this would apply in your case but Windows Sevens Network profiles (Public, Business, Home) offer greater security when connecting to third party WiFi.

Any new hardware your company buys would almost certainly come with 7 preinstalled and may not support Windows XP in terms of drivers.

If I think of any more I'll post them.
