Hi forum,
I don't know where to ask this type of question as i am new to this forum. But urgently needed help to connect my CASIO MA-150 keyboard to my Windows PC via inexpensive USB-MIDI Cable.
I've successfully connected it via cable but i didn't get any input in my FL Studio via my keyboard. No response anymore. Don't know what's the problem. When i connect this cable, windows install basic drivers for that but perhaps there is a problem with driver OR cable OR keyboard. Bit confused..

Let me know what's i'm doing wrong OR what i have to do to successfully get MIDI input to my FL studio as MIDI output from my CASIO MA-150 keyboard.

These are images of my MIDI-USB cable purchased from Snapdeal:

Thanks in advance.
Please help !

Hi and welcome to 7F. When you start FL you need to choose the correct sound input. I haven't used it for ages so can't remember exactly where it is but I'm sure it's there somewhere and I'm sure one of the sound gurus here will be able to point you in the right direction

Thanks Shimshom for replying.. but I knows in FL, where and what choose to get MIDI input.. and in my FL Studio, it showing me that device as Qinheng USB2.0-MIDI, and i can enable it. But when i play my keyboard, no MIDI signals receiving by FL. My PC is running Windows 7, so it installing basic drivers for this device. I'm confused whether the problem is with my MIDI Cable, or my CASIO MA-150 Keyboard ? Please help !

Casio don't seem to have drivers for your instrument so the driver Windows installed should be OK. When connecting the keyboard do you connect it as the picture below so the plug marked Midi in connects to the Midi out on the keyboard and the out to the in

Have you tried installing any other software for recording to see if it works with that. Most of the time it'll be a setting in either Windows or the software that has to be configured correctly to enable the sound and can be sometimes buried somewhere in the settings that's not always easy to find
