Need help finding new graphics to buy

Looking for graphic card to buy.

The pz7-1215 has a PCI-E X16 2.0 slot. That will take most graphics cards that are on the market.

It has a 300W power supply, which is less than recommended by most graphics card makers. The motherboard is microATX, so you may have to check the maximum card length that will fit in the case.

Otherwise: what's your purpose? Budget?

As it is an OEM PC, I doubt it has a huge power supply so you can't put in a high end card unless you replace the PSU. I don't know how bobkn found the specs for your model, but you can try this card:

XFX Radeon HD 7750. It has excellent performance for the money as well as moderate PSU requirement. But for 300 Watt PSU (if this is your rated PSU power), it's not worth spending money for a low end card that gives you very little boost from the HD graphics.

Buying graphic card for gaming budget around $130 dollar. Not looking for expensive graphic card just decent one that is good could play batman arkham city or resident evil 5 or other pc games.

My post above perfertly suits what you need IMO. The Radeon HD 7750 is $99 after rebate, and if you like Nvidia, you can opt to the GTX 550 Ti for $109 after rebate.

I think your PC should be able to run either cards without upgrading your PSU.

A word of warning:

eVGA recommends at least a 400W power supply for the 550ti, with at least 24A at +12V:

It appears to need a 6 pin PCI-E auxiliary power connector as well.

The XFX 7750 wants at least a 450W PSU.

These are both good cards for their prices, I guess, but I'm not sure how well they'd work with the 300W power supply of the HP. I expect that the PSU could be upgraded, but that will raise your budget, plus the amount of effort required. (Are there any warranty issues?)

I don't own the games that you mention. For the Batman title, these are the hardware requirements:

The minimums are an nVidia GT 8800 or Radeon HD 3800. These are old; I don't know what current cards are comparable.
