Need Help For Lost Graphic Card after Install New Windows 7

Hello.
Need Help. Why my Graphic card turn to VGA GRAPHIC ADAPTER after i Install new WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE?

Im using Lenovo G470, Before this it was write Intel Family express graphic something(sorry i forgot it already.But It was a original Graphic when u bought new lenovo lappy. Maybe some of u know correct name of graphic card. sorry about the graphic name.

The problem is, where my old graphic card? and How can i get back the graphic?

Please Help me. Really need help.

Ok.i already dwload 'Intel Onboard Graphics Driver"
but it say error. 'thos computer does not meet minimum requirement to install the softwares'

Are you sure you have the "intel graphics" vga card and not maybe the ATI version ?

Your laptop spec shows that it comes with 2 versions

Err.. last time i see it was Intel family express .... ew..i forgot it already sorry!!

is there any different between ATI and intel?

Can you tell me how can i see my last graphic card or driver if its already turn to VGA graphic adapter after i install Window 7 ultimate 32bits.

because,i already forgot the named like what i just mention from the 1st post.. and maybe you can tell me its effected to Aero display?

It is evident that you have an oldish graphic card because the Windows 7 DVD has most of the required drivers. Did you get a CD or a DVD for the hardware drivers of your Intel Mother Board? If you did and you have preserved it then you shall find the graphic driver that you want over there.

At least I did for my 4 year old computer and I had to install it with Windows XP SP3 compatibility. You too might have to do something similar. Good luck.

You might also want to run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor as it's quite possible your graphics adapter isn't compatible with Windows 7.
