Hello people, i need advice on how to proceed. here is my tangle, my pc has winxp pro as a previous operating system and my main OS is Windows 7, both on same drives.I'm dual booting no issue but now i need to upgrade to win 7 64 bit. I bought a separate HDD for this new OS, my question is. can I install my 64 bit version on this new HDD and when I boot computer the boot loader will give me the 3 options to choose? previous windows, Windows7 and windows 64. any help will be appreciated. thanks

Yes, it should. Another option would be to unplug the other drive, install 7 on the new drive, plug both drives in, then use the bios to choose which drive you want to boot from. And you would still have the original boot screen on your original dual boot.
