Need help laptop windows 7

Im on my pc but i need help with labtop thats windows 7 when it starts up it goes right to a screen that says start up repair stay on and doesnt do anything its been on hrs i shut it off few hrs later and same message appears what do i do to fix it

Did you try running the startup repair ?
Are you getting a message during POST that says run startup or start windows Normally ?

If you can't get a startup repairs to sort the issue then perhaps a clean install would be useful.
