Need help not sure what kind of graphic card to get

Can this PC use other graphic cards?

If I'm llooking at the specs of the right machine, then yes, it has a PCI-E X16 slot, required for most new graphics cards.

On the other hand, it seems to have a 250W power supply, which limits the choices to low-end cards.

What do you hope to gain with a graphics card upgrade?

I want to upgrade graphic card to play games the one have right now NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 already is not good graphic card which it can not play any games at all. So i cant upgrade or put in new one? Yes that is the specs of PC. What kind of graphic card can use i dont know much about it thiers a whole lot of different kind of graphic cards.

You can use a different graphics card, but it would have to be a relatively low-end card because your power supply won't be able to power the card safely.

Look for a card that uses only 50 or 75 watts. Your power supply can probably handle that. You can Google for the power consumption of any graphics card.

You would also have to investigate if such a low-end card would be an improvement over what you now have.

Your other choice is to upgrade your power supply so you can handle more powerful graphics cards.

I think that card uses around 30 watts of power, so you should be OK.

But I have no idea if it is better than what you have now.

I'm not sure what is the most powerful graphics card that an emachines ET1352 would suppport, but an AMD Radeon HD 6450 looks near the top. Some manufacturers require a 400W PSU with that card, but that seems like overkill, as the 6450 uses no PCI-E external power. (It would draw less than 75W.)

I've never used one, but the low-end AMD offerings usually seem to outperform similarly priced nVidia based cards.

You may be able to use a GT 520, even though your power supply is weaker than the 300W one that eVGA recommends (with 18A on the +12V line). If the power supply fails, it may damage a lot of the other components.

I thought that the Radeon might outperform it, but it looks like the 520 may actually be superior. Sorry about that.

ok i just wanted to know thanks for the info. Planning on buying that evga or Radeon not the expensive ones.
