I have 2 Dell desktops, 1 HP Laptop & my iPad. The 4 seem to be all tied together. My oldest dell desktop, while my iPad is plugged into it, operates as an android os. I have been locked out by what appears to be my admin acct on the other desktop although I can view files and applications that have overridden the password. I am admin on my laptop and old pc but I'm still denied access. My iPad "crashes" are all listed on my laptop & the newer desktop, although I have never used home sharing or updated, plugged in, etc the iPad into both.
I am so sick of this.... I can't do anything I want because there have been registry edits and uac changes that deny me access and I'm pretty sure the screen I'm looking at anyway is "what they want me to see". I have much more info if someone thinks they could help me fix this hot mess. I'm ready to take a sledge hammer to all electronics!

You said: I can't do anything I want because there have been registry edits and uac changes that deny me access and I'm pretty sure the screen I'm looking at anyway is "what they want me to see"

Who made the registry and UAC changes?

Please explain: "what they want me to see"

Are these corporate machines? An IT department does have the right to define asset policy.

Have parental controls been put in place?

There are a lot of machines involved and the issue isn't clear to me.
Are you trying to log into the oldest Dell - but cannot?

Pick one issue for this thread and work through that to a resolution.
The rest is just noise and confuses troubleshooting (admin on laptop and old PC... iPad crashes.... all listed/never used sharing).

You get to choose the focus of this thread, but it will be a complete mess if you try to focus on 4 machines and 9 issues.

I don't want to speculate on why or how... I'm just trying to figure out what you need help solving.

Try this as a simple test:
Power all devices off
Disconnect all external devices (except KB, mouse, and monitor) from one machine
Disconnect AC power (remove battery if there is one)
Press and hold power button for 2 full minutes

Reconnect AC power (leave battery out if applicable)
Power up that one machine and only that one machine.

Post results.
