I am new here and wanted some help. I wanted to know if I can do some internet explorer setting using batch file.

Settings would be like this

A - Home page - about:blank
A.1 - Browsing history - marked on delete browsing history on exit.
A.1.1 - Settings - enables radio button (Every time I visit the webpage)

B - Security Default Level for all

C - Content
C.1 AutoComplete - Settings - unchecked all

D - Programs -
D.1 - Default web browser (Make default - Enable) with tell me if internet explorer is not the default web browser.

E - Advance
E.1 - Security Checked on Do not save encrypted pages to disk Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed.

I would be thankful if anyone could help me doing this. :)

Welcome to the forums aquafina7799,

Firstly, I would start a new thread within the General Discussion help section, where you will most definitely get more help - General Discussion - Windows 7 Help Forums

This is the Chillout Room section, where users just discuss things in general etc. Users looking to help will look within the help sections :)

Also, so you want a batch file, which sets the above settings for you in IE?

Since IE settings are located within the registry, I'm not sure if it's possible to create a batch file to change these settings, you could alter the registry settings and then export the .reg files?

I'm guessing that you want to have the same settings for multiple computers, or to allow you to easily change the settings back if you made any changes or are doing a clean installation?

If so, once the registry settings have exported, then you could merge the .reg files by double-clicking them.
