Need help to remove unetbootin

Hi,

I tried installing Unetbootin on my windows 7 64 bit laptop but it doesn't work. While booting it does give me 2 options,
Windows 7
Unetbootin
but when I select unetbootin it gives me an error message. I have decided not to use Unetbootin so now my concern is not with Unetbootin but the problem is I am not able to delete Unetbootin from my machine. Everytime I boot my machine it prompts me to select between the 2. I have checked in control panel and there is no program with Unetbootin, so there is basically no reference there. Any help or guidance will be highly appreciated.

From the UNetbootin website:

Removal Instructions (Applicable only to Hard Disk / "frugal installs")

If using Windows, UNetbootin should prompt you to remove it the next time you boot into Windows. Alternatively, you can remove it via Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.

If using Linux, re-run the UNetbootin executable (with root priveledges), and press OK when prompted to uninstall.

Removal is only required if you used the "Hard Drive" installation mode; to remove the bootloader from a USB drive, back up its contents and reformat it.

Uninstalling UNetbootin simply removes the UNetbootin entry from your boot menu; if you installed an operating system to a partition using UNetbootin, removing UNetbootin will not remove the OS.

To manually remove a Linux installation, you will have to restore the Windows bootloader using "fixmbr" from a recovery CD, and use Parted Magic to delete the Linux partition and expand the Windows partition.

If no help, suggest d/l Revo Uninstaller and see if it can't remove it. Someone with personal experience with UNetbootin may also be along with more help. A Guy

Is UNetbootin entry in win7 bootmenu? If so....Open elevated command prompt http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/783-elevated-command-prompt.html

bcdedit/enum all>bcd.txt

Now post file C:\Windows\system32\bcd.txt
You can delete that file afterwards
