Hi, I have windows 7 and I want to switch over to Google. I already have there Gmail and I would like to get set up to use there browser, but I have not had much luck. I do not have a lot of computer knowledge
but if someone could let me know where I could find some intrusions I think I could learn how to do it.
Thank You for any help you can give me.

Google Chrome is no rocket science. Just install it and use it. If you click on the 3 bars in the top right, you find all the options. The most important one is probab;y "Settings".

Hi rryan, welcome to 7F! :)

This is your starting point: https://Take a tour of Chrome features | support.google.com/chrome

In the list of links to the right, click on: https://Install Chrome | support.google.com/chrome, you may want to check the system requirements, but if you're running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit you should be okay to run chrome. The only problem would be the amount of RAM and the HardDiskDrive (HDD) you have in that HP machine.

It would be very helpful if you would fill out your System Specs, you can use the tool included in the Tutorial here: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/180324-system-info-see-your-system-specs.html just read through the tutorial, use one of the downloads, and it will automagically fill them in for you.

Then click on: https://Download and install Google Chrome | support.google.com/chrome, once there you can either click on the word Windows or click on the + sign next to the word Windows to get the instructions to install chrome for Windows 7.

This FAQ's page: https://Frequently asked questions | support.google.com/chrome has tips on how to find things in chrome like how to personalize your home page. It works like the installation page, click on the + sign or the question to see the instructions.

I have found this link: Google - Chrome Online Manual | VCU, to be very helpful. It has everything you'll need to know laid out in a clear concise manner and any of the links you click on will take you to an official Google page.

   Tip
Just make sure you do not have any other programs running before you start the installation procedure.
