Need help upgrading my rig

Asus 770 needs 300 watts alone, you'd be smart to do the math with the free SPU calculator and then bump it up 15-20%. You may want to consider a new PSU in the 850 range?

I'm talking about removing my current graphics card and replacing it with the 770.

Use this handy calculator and add everything thing up, add all the fan slots up even if not being used you may later for heat? Then take what it gives and add at least 15%-25% as a PSU will degrade about 1.5-2.5% a year. For me I want extra headroom on any power supply so I recommend 650-850w and if you want later to OC and add more GPU's then start at 850-1200.

I think the best bang for the buck is to add a second Asus GTX 560 ti in SLI. What PSU do you have? If it's 650-700 watts you should be GTG. A used 560 is around $100 USD, you may have enough for a 120-240gb SSD. Your cpu and memory are fine, no bottleneck.

For sure you want to back up all important data then completely wipe this hdd drive then I would clean install W7 to a ssd and all the software and games then use the spinner for data.

Which SSD do you recommend?

I would say look to Samsung, Intel, Crucial, Corsair, Kingston. 128gb will give lots of room for growth and updates. Place all software and the best big file games on it, all else can go to spinner ! You just won't believe what you've been missing.....it's a crazy upgrade.

As you can see I posted a quick screenshot and I actually have loads of hard drive space available at the moment. Do you recommend going with 120 GB or 250 GB? And please can you let me know what the 2 windows 7 tabs are when I boot up my computer? I always select the first one.

This is what happens after I reinstalled windows 7. I always choose the top one, scared to know what will happen if i choose the other. The other one can't possibly be my old windows because it's deleted off the hard drive.

Yes, there is only one Win 7 on your computer. but you need to get the System Reserved Partition on the same disk as you C: partition. If you don't follow, look at the Disk Management you posted. You started this thread with that you wanted to get rid of there being two Windows 7 at startup. If you can live with that, then you could leave it as be. I can't help but think that if you don't fix it, somewhere along the way you will have a problem trying to boot. Save your pennies and get that program so that you can fix your PC right.
