need help with a multi boot experiment

Yes - but do realize that if each distro has its own boot partition, and you use the standard 3 partition setup *per* *nix install, you'll have a *lot* of extended partitions - you can only have 3 primary (non -extended) partitions if you plan on using any extended partitions, or else 4 primary and 0 extended partitions.

Hi:

For the number of OS's you wish to install I would strongly recommend Terabyteunlimited's BootItNG. It is shareware (39.99 I think) but you can try for a month to see if you like it. The beauty of the Linux distro's is that using the completely stable ntfs-3g driver you can read and write to NTFS volumes - for example sharing VM's between Linux and Windows or just use Linux to download windows file if you want to stay in Linux for a bit. Using Openoffice editing files in Windows and Linux is also easyi.

well i was unable to do all the distros with easy bcd on got it done with ubuntu and fedora .. open suse gives error like bossmayank619 not in sudoers no idea in hell what that means ... and pclinuxos really didnt liked the distro to be honest it is supposed to be quite simple to use as their tag line but quite unuser friendly i would say and hell it doesnt even have an option to use my inbuilt bluetooth. but all in all to use all under Vista`s bootloader using easy bcd has failed but still i`ll keep trying to find a way to do it.
