Hi there,

I am having random BSODs appear. My latest one occured whilst on Skype using webcam (IRQ_Not_Equal_Or_Less_than). But my machine can also BSOD when booting into Windows from a cold boot too.

This is a fairly new install of Windows - 2/3 months!

Attached is the Zip file with the Windows_NT6_BSOD_jcgriff2 files and HTML from Resource and Performance Monitor.

System Specs:

Windows 7 64-Bit (Up to date)
Intel Core i7 920 CPU
ASUS Rampage III Formula Motherboard
MSI GTX 580 Graphics Card
Kingston HyperX Genesis 1600MHz 9-9-9-26 Memory
Kingston V+ 120GB SSD
2 x (Samsung) 500GB HDD
Antec Signature 650W PSU

Two problems

1-ASACPI.SYS a major cause of BSOD's in the 2005 rev
.

The pre 2009 version of this driver is a known BSOD cause.

The 2005 version of this driver is a known BSOD cause.
Please visit this link: ASUS teK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download P7P55D LE
ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download P7P55D LE

Scroll down to the Utilities category, then scroll down to the "ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Windows 7 32&64-bit" (it's about the 12th item down).
Download and install it.
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers to check and make sure that the ASACPI.sys file is date stamped from 2009 or 2010 (NOT 2005).

2-These crashes were related to nusb3xhc.sys
USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver from NEC Electronics Corporation..I would re-install with newest available.

How To Find Drivers:
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference Driver Reference
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads

Unsure which mobo and which driver. If I remember correctly all the boards take the same update. Check with their site to confirm.
