Hello kapefyra,

Welcome to the Seven Forums.

I believe that XP has to be installed first. I don't think it can recognize the seven boot files and thus installs it's own and makes them default. Seven will see the XP boot files and add XP to the list.

You could try Easy BCD. Link here: http://www.sevenforums.com/software/92-free-great-programs-windows-7-a.html
There is an add button. It may do the trick for you.

Please keep us informed.

You could try running the startup repair on the win7 install disk. It might find xp and add the entry...you could also check msconfig (just type msconfig in the start search field and press enter) and check out the entries there.
You could also run the repair from the xp cd, and run easybcd from there. Get the latest beta from the thread here: [ame=http://neosmart.net/forums/showthread.php?t=642]EasyBCD 2.0 Beta Builds - The NeoSmart Forums[/ame]
Choose "reinstall vista loader", and then choose add/remove entries and choose "Windows NT/2k/XP/2003"
good luck
