Hi Muse,
That Lappy originally came with vista.
so the code on the bottom of the lappy will not work, for W7.
the report is showing a well known, and blocked Ultimate key.
Buy a good one to get W7.

My idiot sister who thinks BC she plays fb games knows computers let someone install vista and it ruined her boot mgr, i then of course used a legal copy of windows 7 and then it was fine and auto registered. It has now reverted thanks to the kids spamming it. I am trying to only add the key without a crack, but might have to if I have to constantly reformat this CPU and decided to keep it and not allow it to be an issue anymore IF i can register it properly. I normally would have this, but in trying to be legit I'm having issues lol. The OEM and prod all reg win 7 home prem and any other OS, including vista, are read as counterfeit. So I am on the right path, unfortunately, point a & B are arguing. If you have additional ideas, Id love it. I know on HP's they is usually a secondary key locale. She didn't purchase this after market, so the OS should be Win 7 home prem...Id rather no reformat this again for the same issue, Ive tried ALL win versions...Windows 7 home prem is the only one that will not load the counterfeit issue or stop working and to the best of my sleep deprived mind, I cant remember the second Prod ID number location. Trying to save myself some work so any help is appreciated and thanks for responding. Now if she actually did get a hack CPU, Ill have to work around it another way.

The Bios date is after the release of W7, so you might get lucky IF you have not overwritten the factory reset option, it will auto-activate as well.

If you have a set of retail W7 discs the licence code is on the packaging

Yeah I checked and I am trying those options. As previously mentioned my sister who is younger, is an idiot, there is NO telling what she did or LET someone else do. I will try thank you for responding. If she screwed the bios I can work around it. You guys have been awesome though and I thank you for your time. I just also realized, the scan was run on the Compaq NOT the HP though is still labeled with the original stickers all win7 home prem. Its super frustrating...but thanks to even the smallest nudges, I know where better to look, thanks again guys!

Hey I actually went through the bios and it does ready win 7 so it inst vista but how will i alter it so I can register it before those hogs Microsoft crash the CPU? If you can help, please do, but the BIOS reads windows 7...

You need a product key, the one in the report is the default key for Win 7 Home Premium.

The BIOS date in the report also coincides with having Win 7 installed originally.

If you don't have or can't read the COA sticker there's not much we can do.

Ah the wonder of screenshots
As i said if the factory restore option is still there then you will NOT need a key, it will auto activate, you might also get lucky if you have a set of the OEM recovery discs.
