Here is the device error I am getting: Microphone problem
There
s a problem with the microphone inside your computer. Try plugging in a USB headset for this call. The call I was making was the skype echo self test.
Skype supposed to be so easy and here I am unable to get my new Logitech camera/built in mic to work. Have any idea what's wrong?
is your headphones connected to your computer? if yes, go to control panel>sound>recording>microphone>listen try talking to it and see if you can hear back what you say

I did go into control panel but there is no sound recording or microphone. They have sound but it is only to adjust your volume.
have you connected it to your front panel or back panel?

Hi Paniolo, welcome to 7F!
Until you offer more information:
We can only offer uneducated guesses.
Have you followed the instructions here?
Using Skype with your Logitech webcam This is for the C250, but again, I don't know if you have a 250.
There is even the possibility there is a BIOS setting that will turn your on-board microphone off so it won't conflict with the built-in one on your new camera.
