Hi everyone

My one testing machine at work keep ons restarting with BSOD. I've now done a fresh install, and have not installed anything yet. I though a clean install may have helped. Was busy instsalling SP1 and bang, happened again.

In such a situation, it is better to enable Driver Verifier to monitor the drivers.

Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.

Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any.

Nope, had to boot in safe mode to disable driver verifier, once removed I could boot normally again. I'm thinking its GPU

DV is discovering a cause, but because either it's so early at startup or it involves the disk I/O corruption that it cannot create the crashdump. Turn off automatic restart by typing "advanced system settings" at start menu, then go to Startup & Recovery and turn off the automatic restart option. Save changes and restart, then turn DV on again as described before and restart and let it crash. Hopefully you'll see a bluescreen which gives details. Provide us the bugcheck code, the 4 parameter numbers next to it, and hopefully it'll give the name of a driver file as a well (labeled "probably caused by:").
