I know this is a Win 7 forum, but thought I would ask anyway since I don't think the problem is OS specific. At least it might not be.
A friend emailed and said when she performs a shutdown, a memory error pops up stating "0x00000019 memory could not be written". The memory error stays on screen for about 3 seconds before the PC shuts down.
I don't have physical access to the PC yet, but its a Dell thats about 2 years old. I did the OS install for her and it has SP3 installed. My first thought is that she might have a memory module that is failing, but these memory errors are sometimes very difficult to identify.
Anyone else have an idea?
