Need Help with the netsh firewall add port opening

Hi All,
i'm in a difficult isituation now :o. I need to change the
"netsh firewall add portopening .." command to a windows 7 accepted command, so i know that the option to make is to convert it into the following command
" netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name .." But my question is. in the earlier command , i.e "netsh firewall add portopening" there was an attribute named "Interface" , which was customizable :)but in the new command i see only and option "interfaceType" , which is not customizable so:eek:. Please help me in this . what should i be Doing in this?:cry:

Yeah i tried that but i doesn't state anything about the atribute interface and How to handle it with it's alternative. is there any where i can Look into for a help for thisproblem. Please...Need help ASAP!!!!

I don't know what you are attempting to accomplish and would think you have already investigated the MSDN resources. If not, the following is what I found on the InterfaceType Class: InterfaceTypeAttribute Class

However, as it sounds as though you are attempting to configure the Windows 7 Firewall for a corporate network situation, I suggest you refer to the MSDN document at Netsh Commands for Windows Firewall with Advanced Security and the documents linked in that article.
